What data do we collect?
We collect the absolute minimum amount of information required to provide the service.
This includes a platform identifier (e.g. your Reddit or Slack username) and your Ethereum address, along with information about the transfer (amount, currency, etc.).
We do not collect your email address or any other personal information.
How is that data used?
If you are the sender, we use your information to send you the payment URL. Your Ethereum address will be visible to the recipient on the Ethereum blockchain once the transfer is complete.
If you are the recipient, we use your information to generate the payment URL. Your Ethereum address will be shared with the sender so they can complete the transfer.
What data do you publish?
If using Reddit public transfers, information about the transfer (amount, currency, etc.) will be posted publicly in response to the sender's trigger comment. Your Ethereum address will not be published, however, the Ethereum blockchain is a public resource so be aware that people will likely be able to match your Ethereum address to your Reddit username.
